Who is Dora Mae?

 The Story...

custom boho one of a kind jewelryDora Mae Jewelry, a distinctive line of boho glam jewels with both vintage joy and modern magic, was born when designer Ansley Schrimsher discovered her grandmother, Dora Mae Pemberton’s, collection of antique jewelry.

Inspired to update her grandmother’s collection of amazing but outdated antiques with current style and modern materials, Ansley created the one-of-a-kind jewelry line in 2008. Since then, she has hosted workshops, fashion shows, and recreated thousands of pieces of antique jewelry. In 2018 Dora Mae Jewelry is celebrating 10 years of business in Orlando!

Closest to her heart is the relationship she has built with women in Madagascar whom she trained in jewelry making. Almost 80 percent of the chains used in Dora Mae Jewelry designs are handcrafted by these artisans.

Over the past 10 years, Ansley and the Dora Mae Jewelry team have recreated priceless family heirlooms into fashion-forward pieces of jewelry for thousands of customers in Central Florida and beyond.
